New Delhi: The legend of Hindustani Classical Music. Pt. Bhimsen Joshi was confirmed for highest civilian award ‘Bharat Ratna’ this year. He started his career in music when he was 19 year old and has more than 7 decades of experience. This is after seven year the award is going to a musical man, before shehnai maestro Ustad Bismillah Khan got the honor. Pt. Joshi has conferred Padma Vibhusan in 1991, Padma Bhusan in 1985 and Padma Shri in 1972.
